- Answer a high volume of calls in a professional and courteous manner
- Obtain proper information from patients when scheduling appointments such as demographics and insurance information
- Record information accurately into our patient management system
- Communicate messages to appropriate parties
- Maintain the strictest confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA guidelines and regulations
- Experience working in a high volume call center environment
- Great attention to detail and the ability to record information accurately
- Ability to develop and maintain a good rapport and a cooperative working relationship with providers, staff, and patients
- Proficiency in handling all calls in a professional and compassionate manner
- Knowledge of insurances, referrals, and eligibility a must
- One year of medical office experience or a combination of medical education and office experience preferred
- Regular and reliable job attendance is required
