Job Summary
To support Enrollment Management Division decision-making through data analysis, interpretation, reporting, and development of recommendations for institutional action. Foster a positive working environment that honors the UTA Principles of Community and leads to healthy levels of productivity and contributes to UTA being increasingly known as a great place to work.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Evaluates and responds to data requests originating from within the Division of Enrollment Management and various departs on Campus.
• Works with requestors to clarify their needs and to ensure timely and accurate reports by providing knowledge about Enrollment Management reports.
• Prepares weekly and ad Hoc reports using SAS, Oracle Business Intelligence Applications (OBIA), Student information system (PeopleSoft Campus solution), and other statistical analysis tools.
• Organizes, presents and distributes detailed data analysis and Ad Hoc reports in various formats like dashboards charts executive summaries using SAS Viya, Power BI, Oracle Business Intelligence Applications (OBIA).
• Collaborates with the IT department and data owners to improve the accuracy of data entered and stored in the centralized database.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, 0r information systems statistics with two (2) years of experience in data analysis and reporting, or equivalent experience.
• Professional SAS skills, SQL skills, MS Office skills (Word, Excel), SharePoint.
• Excellent organization, teamwork, problem-solving, and communication (verbal and written) skills.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate with people at all levels of the organization.
• Experience in data analysis, data-driven research and/or predictive analysis role is required.
• The ability to prepare and present reports and dashboards to diverse audiences is required.
• Displays attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of People Soft Campus Solutions a plus.
• Knowledge of CRM Applications
• Experience in higher education is a plus.
• Previous experience with utilizing analytical tools such as SAS Enterprise Guide, SAS Enterprise Miner, SAS Visual Analytics, SAD Programming, Oracle Business Intelligence Applications (OBIA) is preferred.
• SAS Certification.
• Machine learning, R programming, predictive and / or statistical analytics, Java or Python knowledge.
