At United, we fly into airports around the entire world. And we need a whole team of people to keep things running in tip-top shape! From the exceptional service at the check-in counter to the departure gate, and even behind the scenes making sure your checked bags arrive with you, our Airport Operations team keeps operations at our airports running smoothly every single day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for partnering with the Manager and Supervisors of the shops to support the operation and meet organizational goals
- Directly responsible to perform routine reporting for analysis and metrics of shop turnaround times, volume impact and budgetary requirements to support the operation
- Assist the shop and Sr. Analyst in Cost benefit analysis for repair vs. buy plus justifying equipment and tooling purchase to support in house repairs
- Support forecast process as well as yearly budget/ volume and unit rate planning..Project management
- Provide analysis and input to weekly and monthly control towers
- Interact business partners to drive results and deliver solutions
- Utilize Daily Shop Operations reports and provide shop priorities – what needs to be worked to help shop supervisors plan, assign, and execute
- Keep the pulse on shop turn times and OT delivery
- Facilitates data and metric reviews with Shop Leads and Supervisors to ensure accurate data
- On-going follow-up on shop units with the shop team to ensure timely escalation of issues and resolution to meet or exceed turn times
- Also to include timely and accurate updates on shop due by dates and status updates to reflect true status of the shop units
- Reviews, identifies, and resolves discrepancies related to data and various reports
- Timely processing of invoices for outside vendor units
- Review and analyze supplier performance, follow-up to ensure they meet the planned turn times
- Manage and coordinate Quote approvals for units that go to vendor
- Look for opportunities for exchanges vs. repairs when working with suppliers

Qualifications
What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant work experience in Business or Finance
- Strong working knowledge of Windows, excel, word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Project management skills and knowledge of continuous improvement tools and techniques
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):
- 2 - 4 years of operational or analytical experience
- Master's degree in Business or Finance
- Project management skills and knowledge of continuous improvement tools and techniques
