GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Analyst role within DaVita’s People (Human Resources or HR) Insights & Analytics team is designed to compile complex data sets, produce ongoing regular reporting, generate insight, and help draw conclusions and recommendations about DaVita’s business using DaVita’s people data. The role would have a general People Analytics focus. This position reports to a leader on the People Insights & Analytics team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Produce ongoing regular and ad hoc reporting
- Identify trends and propose potential analysis for insights
- Make recommendations aligned with business goals and strategy
- Participate in projects and programs with people data, prioritizing work based on changing demands
- Create effective visualizations tailored to the context of the data and the audience
- Seek to improve processes and programs
- Ensure the integrity of sensitive, confidential data
- Develop proficiency in one software tools like Excel, Workday (or other HRIS), SQL, Tableau, or other tool for reporting and analysis
- Explain complex, technical issues in a simple, effective way
- Collaborate, guide, and provide expertise to internal business partners
- Develop presentations for audiences at varied skill-levels, telling a story with the data
- Build strong partnerships with stakeholders within and outside of the team
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree required in business, economics, engineering, finance, mathematics, statistics, psychology or other applicable quantitative or management related field.
- 1+ year in a business environment, gathering and using data to solve business problems. Management consulting or similar experience a plus.
- 1 year of experience in database querying and understanding of relational database design, SQL and/or Workday preferred.
- Experience using working with multiple data sources to generate insights from analyses, answering questions, creating solutions, and manipulating large data sets to provide measures of projects, programs, and efforts for an organization.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; experience collaborating on project teams, managing relationships with clients, and presenting to audiences a plus.
- Intermediate skills in Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint required.
- 1 or more years of related Human Resources experience preferred.

- Minimum of three (3) years' healthcare reimbursement experience preferred ; experience with admissions, billing, and collections preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of insurance rules, regulations and Coordination of Benefits for federal, state, and managed care payors in multiple states preferred
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook required

Salary/ Wage Range
$51,400.00 - $75,500.00 / yearCompensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
