- Provides leadership across the organization for thesale of Precision Farming Products offered through John Deere
- Conducts preseason on-farm customer training andin-field start-ups and troubleshooting
- Creates and executes a John Deere AgricultureManagement Solutions (AMS) Marketing Plan
- Develops and delivers employee training for AMS products
- Manages the adoption of new technology and productofferings
- Managesdealership inventory processes for AMS products, customer follow-up processes,and customer satisfaction issues related to product line.
- Provides supportfor advanced customer training (including desktop software products) offeredthrough John Deere
- Identifies andleads training opportunities for customer education programs involving AMS andhost product solutions
- Serves as the internal and external dealershiptechnical specialist relative to the entire AMS product line
- 1+ years experience in an agriculture-related role
- Excellent driving record with a valid driver's license (checked viainsurance company)
- Knowledge of database software and computer application systems
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as MicrosoftOffice and internet functions
- Ability to speak and write effectively one-on-one and within a group
- Associates degree inAgronomy, Agriculture Business, or Agriculture Mechanization or equivalentexperience
Please note this position could have a one-year training period at our Atwood, IL location and then could potentially be transferred to another location within our southern stores.
