Summary/Objective*
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team. As the Amazon Marketplace Manager, your role revolves around the comprehensive management of our Amazon Seller business while working closely with the channel Director to ensure overall success within the channel. Beyond individual tasks, you will lead team progress on Amazon-related projects, fostering collaboration and communication between internal/external teams and overseeing end-to-end execution of Amazon initiatives to maximize our brand presence and performance on the Amazon platform.

Responsibilities:
- Spearhead the execution of comprehensive strategies to boost sales, profitability, and market share on Amazon.
- Lead and collaborate with marketplace teams on day-to-day operations.
- Align with the channel Director to develop and implement high-impact Amazon account strategies.
- Communicate effectively with the channel Director and other key stakeholders, providing updates on performance, challenges, and opportunities.
Project & Team Management:
- Act as project manager for Amazon-related initiatives, and lead team progress.
- Drive cross-functional coordination with marketing, sales, and supply chain teams to streamline processes for enhanced efficiency.
- Monitor and optimize team performance, executing initiatives that align with overarching business goals.
Market Research:
- Conduct in-depth competitor analyses and pricing assessments to stay ahead in the market.
- Utilize valuable insights to make informed decisions and suggest competitive pricing strategies.
- Conduct thorough Amazon product research to provide strategic recommendations for product mix.
Product Management:
- Lead the execution of expansion plans for new product launches, collaborating closely with product, operations, and ads teams to bring the product to market.
- Stay abreast of Merch team product changes and communicate updates effectively to the marketplace teams.
- Collaborate with the Product team to effectively manage & optimize product listings, encompassing titles, descriptions, images, and pricing.
Marketing:
- Update the channel promotional calendar and track performance.
- Take the lead in developing and executing marketing strategies to elevate brand visibility.
- Collaborate with marketing, brand, and product teams to devise impactful online marketing campaigns and promotions.
- Communicate with internal & external advertising teams on requests for content/assets needed for advertising campaigns.
Customer Relations:
- Track customer service team performance metrics and collaborate with the CS team, operations, and production for continuous improvement.
- Actively track, monitor, and report on customer reviews, request CS team responses, and utilize feedback to enhance product listings and customer satisfaction.
Inventory Tracking:
- Proactively monitor inventory and collaborate with the channel Director and operations lead on improving efficiency to prevent stock-outs and excess inventory.
- Ensure accurate tracking of product availability and delivery times.
- Notify the advertising teams of any inventory issues to prevent inefficiencies.
Issue Tracking / Amazon Support:
- Coordinate with Seller Support and internal teams to resolve open issue cases.
- Maintain a meticulous record of case submissions and responses/resolution time.
- Collaborate with product, operations, and FC teams on FBA reconciliations and credits.
Reporting/Analytics:
- Generate comprehensive reports to meticulously track key performance indicators.
- Actively monitor and track account health, performance notifications, sales targets, and inventory/sales metrics.
- Present compelling competitive and category analyses in the Amazon marketplace regularly.
- Collaborate with the channel director to create and develop presentations for internal teams and senior leadership, ensuring clear communication of comprehensive Amazon account strategies and performance metrics.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in related fields preferred or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years Amazon Seller Central account management.
- Experience managing large catalogs (over 5K SKUs): 1+ years - \*\*Preferred
- Amazon Marketplace Certifications a plus, but not required
- In-depth knowledge of Amazon's algorithms, policies, and best practices
- Deep knowledge of Amazon’s KPIs and enforcement procedures
- Experience with project management: 1+ years

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., 40 hours per week. Some weekends may be required.

Travel
Remote – role is based out of San Antonio/ Austin. Occasional travel to San Antonio is required.
