**Job Overview:**
We are seeking an Amazon and Online Marketplace Strategy Manager to lead our client brands in the complex, fast-paced world of online retail. This role is central to our clients' success in multichannel selling, requiring an individual with an in-depth understanding of Amazon and other major online marketplaces. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record in driving growth and optimizing online sales channels.
**Responsibilities:**
- Develop and execute comprehensive strategies specifically tailored for Amazon and other online marketplaces, ensuring alignment with our clients' multichannel selling objectives.
- Work closely with client brands to integrate insights and strategies across Amazon, e-commerce platforms, and other digital retail channels.
- Proactively analyze and communicate sales trends, competitive landscape, and market insights specific to online marketplaces, providing actionable solutions to brand challenges.
- Lead the implementation of online marketplace strategies, focusing on maximizing sales, optimizing product visibility, and enhancing brand presence.
- Translate strategic goals into detailed plans, coordinating with cross-functional teams to manage activities, timelines, and resources in alignment with client objectives.
- Offer leadership and expertise in Amazon platform management, including Vendor & Seller Central, as well as other marketplace management tools.
- Continuously monitor and interpret market data, staying ahead of trends in online retail and e-commerce, and adjusting strategies to maintain competitive advantage.
- Present clear, data-driven recommendations to clients and stakeholders, ensuring accountability and effectiveness in strategy execution.
- Collaborate with clients to define and understand their brand vision, goals, and target audience, translating these into effective Amazon strategies.
- Manage and optimize Amazon accounts for a portfolio of client brands, ensuring product listings are effectively positioned and priced competitively.
- Implement and oversee tailored SEO, PPC campaigns, marketplace advertising plans, and promotional activities on Amazon as part of overall strategy and to drive brand awareness and sales.
- Conduct thorough market analysis and competitor research to inform strategic decisions and identify opportunities for growth.
- Regularly monitor, analyze, and report on account performance, making data-driven recommendations to clients and adjusting strategies as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with Amazon's policies and guidelines, staying abreast of any changes and adapting strategies accordingly.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with content creators, logistics, and other relevant teams to ensure cohesive operation and strategy implementation for client accounts.
- Handle account health issues, inventory management, and customer service inquiries promptly and efficiently.
- Occasionally aid in new client acquisition, including strategy pitches and account setup.
**Desired Qualifications:**
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in online marketplace management, with a strong focus on Amazon and multichannel retail strategies and a preference for Agency experience.
-Management experience within an Agency preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Expert knowledge of Amazon's Vendor & Seller Central platforms, and familiarity with other major online marketplace tools and analytics.
- Exceptional skills in collaboration, communication, and cross-functional team management.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions and provide innovative solutions.
- Proven track record in managing complex online retail projects and delivering measurable results.
- Strong analytical capabilities, with a keen eye for market trends and consumer behavior in the digital retail space.
- Resilient and adaptable, able to thrive in a fast-paced and ever-evolving online marketplace environment.

-Online marketplace advertising experience (PPC, DSP) - strategy, execution, performance data interpretation experience, and advertising technology experience, welcomed.
