Objectives:

Mount-It! is looking for a data driven and detail oriented Amazon Marketplace Associate to manage a portion of our Amazon US account. In this position you will be working with other team members in a high volume, Omni-Channel business that operates multiple storefronts including Amazon, Staples, Wal-Mart and other prominent marketplaces. The ideal candidate can have Amazon marketplace, or other ecommerce experience, in a corporate or agency environment and possess knowledge of both e-commerce and Amazon best practices, including understanding of Seller Central, Amazon Advertising, and all Amazon sales levers. We are also open to candidates who are looking to grow their ecommerce experience and have the following skillset: quantitative data background, profit and loss analysis, and a hunger to grow a business. Responsibilities include the day-to-day management and execution of Amazon's sales, promotions, marketing and product management.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and track the performance and profitability of assigned product portfolios. Identify, evaluate and execute profit maximization activities. Deliver results. Drive growth and help to achieve financial targets by implementing sales, marketing, and merchandising strategies for assigned products in partnership with senior management.
  • Review product content for portfolio products and recommend changes and/or updates. Work with the Creative Team to implement the recommendation. Enhance product titles, descriptions, categorizations, A+ content and keywords for optimal performance, improving page rank, SEO, and sales. Perform in-depth keyword research.
  • Own and manage Amazon Advertising campaigns (Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display) for the assigned product portfolio, within the confines of product and overall company financial goals and efficiency benchmarks.
  • Help execute marketing promotions, online coupons, promo codes, etc. Report back on key promotional metrics
  • Identify and lead new test ideas for additional revenue.
  • Conduct competitive research to identify our strong and weak points. Track category trends to implement growth strategies. Improve product performance and market share growth through opportunity analysis, including market research, voice of the customer and competitive research.
  • Oversight and management of sales forecasts and product inventory levels, including communication of significant sales quantity increases and decreases with the Purchasing Department.
  • Track fulfillment metrics and communicate with warehouse and logistics team to increase order fulfillment efficiency. Monitor and provide recommendations on FBA shipments, late shipment rates and Amazon order defect rate to maintain our shipping performance and premium shipping eligibility above good standing metrics.
  • Report and analyze marketplace’s performance and operating metrics on a daily and weekly basis including, but not limited to, Account Health, Feedback Performance, Product Policy Compliance, Shipping Performance, Brand Registry and Brand Performance.
  • Manage the product lifecycle for assigned products to maximize profits, revenue, market share and ROI.
  • Interact with QA/QC to respond to customer complaints and customer requests for technical product information.
  • Work with marketplace Seller Support, creating cases and following up with case log to resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Manage details of product packaging, pricing, and assignment of part numbers. Create and process internal documentation, as needed, to support the launch of new products and product modifications.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree (B.A/B.S.)
  • Experience with Amazon.com Seller Central
  • Background in consumer goods, office products and electronics accessories industries preferred.
  • Social media & marketing skills are desired.
  • Highly motivated and can work independently, organized and efficient.
  • Proven data management and analytical skills. Track record of digging into data, and finding solutions for variety of performance issues
  • Experience in marketing and product management
  • Detail oriented, diligent, and thinks critically.
  • Understanding of digital marketing principles
  • Knowledge of general business practices and procedures
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Advanced time management skills with the ability to prioritize.
  • Adapt to a fluid environment and ability to toggle between multiple projects.

Pay: $70,000 - $80,000 per year depending on experience
