We are constantly on a mission to add smart, innovative and fun-loving team members, and are looking for a Senior Manager, Digital Marketplace (Amazon) to come join our New York based headquarters. Our HQ Office is located in Lower Manhattan and our teams are on-site 3 days per week. 
Reporting to the VP of E-Commerce Buying & Amazon, the Senior Manager of Digital Marketplace (Amazon) will be responsible for owning the strategic vision and day-to-day management of our Amazon business in order to help drive significant growth. The Sr Manager will partner with internal cross-functional partners as well as an external agency in order to deliver results. This person should have experience running FBA and FBM Amazon businesses. The ideal candidate must be able to establish positive relationships with cross-functional partners and advocate for Amazon/Marketplaces initiatives and objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the Digital Marketplace strategy and lead tactical operations to increase product demand, drive sales, acquire customers, and promote the overall online presence of the brand
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on key eCommerce initiatives, promotions, demand planning, and brand marketing
  • Review selling data, marketplace trends, and best practices to optimize online marketplace and marketing performance
  • Responsible for assortment curation and inventory buys and projections against AMZ assortment (in partnership with planning and leadership)
  • Own strategy and execution of deals and tentpole events
  • Communicate best sellers/slow sellers and provide recommendations to drive business forward
  • Own Amazon Agency Relationship: communicate directly with agency on all aspects of business; Ex. Promotional strategy, product whitespace, growth opportunities, inventory position, etc.
  • Utilize search engine optimization (SEO) analytics and search engine marketing (SEM) techniques to increase traffic
  • Lead the development, curation, and deployment of compelling content to attract visitors and promote sales
  • Partner with Marketing Team and agency on Paid Performance Campaign
  • Communicate new launches, business objectives, sales trend and goals for the year
  • Own the creation, updating, and analyzing of weekly sales reporting
  • Post-Deal analysis and reporting (Prime Day, Prime Exclusive, T5 and all deals)
  • Partner with internal cross-functional partners: Merchandising/Buying, Planning, Marketing, Operations, Brand
  • Own NIS (New Item Setup) process, populating all PDP-related data points (F&B, fabric, style-numbers, images etc.) in order to generate ASINs in partnership with agency
  • Monitor inventory to avoid OOS both at internal Warehouse as well as FBA inventory
  • Transmit updated ASIN lists to Performance marketing agency as campaigns and strategies adjust
  • Audit existing PDP catalog for consistent CX (identifying orphaned styles, broken pages, image issues/other errors affecting conversion)

Experience, Skills, & Attributes:

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience running an Amazon business; experience within apparel preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in related field
  • Demonstrates alignment with TJ core values: Humble, Adaptable, Mindful, GSD, & Curious
  • SME for Amazon & marketplaces best practices
  • Experience with Seller Central
  • Proven ability to craft annual Marketplaces Strategic Plan and Forecast aligned with both department and organizational goals
  • Strong business process experience, including project management and resource prioritization & utilization
  • Strong presenter with the ability to execute e-commerce strategic initiatives
  • Must be highly organized & possess strong analytical skills
  • Ability to think outside of the box and innovate to solve complex problems
  • Strong computer skills: Word, Excel, Google Sheets
  • Flexible to deadline demands, ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Self motivated with exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills; act as a leader amongst peers 
  • Ability to work in a team based environment
  • Ability to be on-site in our HQ Office in Lower Manhattan 3 days per week

Salary Range: $120,000 to $130,000 annually
