The Ag IT department is looking for a student to assist with imaging new computers, deploying equipment, and helping the support services staff as needed during regular business hours.
Required Qualifications:
Strong verbal and written communication is required. Applicants should be able to follow verbal and written instructions and lift up to twenty-five pounds. Technical support and customer service experience is preferred but not required.

Students employed in this role will develop and demonstrate a number of transferable skills essential for future employment success. Key skills and responsibilities associated with this position include:
- The applicant will be receiving instruction both written and verbal regarding the particulars of each computer imaged. They will need to keep detailed notes about what has been done to each computer and record it in the ticketing system. They will communicate with customers and support services staff over the phone, in person, and through email.
- Critical thinking is required to solve technical problems. The applicant will be required to prioritize work and adapt when faced with unforeseen events.
- This position requires taking instruction from senior team members. Customer service skills are necessary when assisting with problems or setting up a new computer system. The applicant must be able to communicate in technical language with support staff and layman's terms to customers.
- Some work without direct supervision is required. Must be able to follow up with customers without being told to do so. The information technology field requires continuous learning. Mental flexibility and willingness to learn are critical to this position.
