Primary Function:
Under the direction of the District Nurse Supervisor, assist staff and provide administrative support to nursing staff
Length of Employment:
Temporary grant funded position to end May 31, 2024
Requirements/Responsibilities:
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision
• Must be able to make independent decisions on a daily basis, addressing the best way to handle specific tasks
• Must be able to collaborate with other support personnel, employees, and management on a regular basis
• Must know how to maintain organization and prioritize
• Spelling, punctuation, sentence structure, and writing are essential
• Compile and maintain office records
• Plan and distribute information
• Assess current Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and other technology in use
• Assist with mass screenings and referral procedures, planning, execution, and follow-up at different school locations
• Review vaccine documentation and assist students and families without valid SC immunization certificates to obtain missing vaccines
• Experienced use of MS Office Suite
• Compose and key routine letters, emails, correspondence
• Maintain confidentiality of documents and all information received
• Any other duties as appropriately assigned by supervisor
