Duties
  • You will manage administrative functions and develops, interprets, recommends, and implements organization-wide corporate and administrative processes and procedures for PEO MLB and subordinate program offices.
  • You will analyze and evaluate (on a quantitative or qualitative basis) the effectiveness of administrative processes and objectives that requires developing and implementing processes to improve delivery of administrative products and services.
  • You will develop and implement administrative products and services and analyze organization methods to improve effectiveness.
  • You will manage various executive-level projects, objectives, and metrics and resolve conflicts among competing business/administrative requirements.
  • You will make recommendations that effectively contribute to substantive administration and business matters.
  • You will manage and coordinate data calls, internal/external action items, and review internal and external documents and correspondence.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final Secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • Generally, current Federal employees applying to APS jobs must serve at least one year at the next lower grade level. All qualifications and pay band requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement and documented in your resume.
  • You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.

Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or DP-02 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing, evaluating, or researching the effectiveness of administrative processes and objectives that require developing and implementing processes to improve delivery of administrative products and services; and advising on the potential benefits/uses of automation/digitalization to improve the efficiency of administrative operations.

This position is in the Personnel Demonstration Project under authority of Title VII of the Civil Service Reform Act of 1978.
The pay schedule and pay band for all Demonstration Project Professional Positions will be DP-1/2/3/4.
This position is eligible for part time, full time or ad-hoc telework at the discretion of management.
The incumbent must complete mandatory training requirements.
This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
