The Bluegrass Challenge Academy is hiring an
Administrative Specialist III that provides professionallogistics support in the review, evaluation, development of various projects and activities.
Job duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Interprets and applies rules, regulations, and applicable policy relating to propertyacquisition and inventory for Bluegrass Youth Challenge Academy;
- Monitors unit budget status and makes recommendations to supervisors of adjustments/alternatives to staywithin budget;
- Studies program need for equipment, supplies, etc. and makes recommendations for requisitionthereof;
- Reviews, compiles and prepares reports for compliance with federal, state, and agency reportingrequirements;
- Oversees and/or instructs state active duty personnel when assisting program with variouslogistical operations;
- Attends staff meetings in the Logistics Supervisor's absence.
Minimum Requirements
EDUCATION:Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree.
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS:Three years of professional, administrative, or business experience.
Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE:Additional education will substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
Substitute EXPERIENCE for EDUCATION:Additional administrative, business, research, and/or clerical experience will substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
