Job Summary

Corvus Consulting, LLC, is seeking an Administrative Specialist to support the J10 by managing daily administrative tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates In-Processing and Out-Processing for all personnel within the division.
  • Consolidates accountability of all assigned and attached government.
  • Serves as the Organizational Defense Travel Administrator or Defense Travel Reviewer to assist personnel with travel orders and vouchers in the Defense Travel System.
  • Maintains accurate records management IAW SOCOM policy.
  • Serves as Defense Ready administrator responsible for receiving, consolidating, and compiling accountability for input in the Defense Ready system.
  • Collaborates with local personnel office (J1) on personnel matters such as vacancies, tentative/firm job offers, status of personnel actions, pre-employment requirements.
  • Coordinates human resource support for military and civilian personnel assigned to the J10 with the appropriate human resource support activity.
  • Collaborates with civilian leadership and local personnel office in support of position management, DPMAPS, and DCIPS.
  • Perform escort duty for cleaning crew and construction crew in support of SOCOM J10 when required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Active Top-Secret/SCI Clearance (DoD)
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or two years’ experience within the Department of Defense in Human Resourcing.
  • At least two years of experience working within a Department of Defense Service and a strong preference for Joint Department of Defense.
  • Must possess strong communication skills.
  • Two years of experience working with the Defense Travel Systems in the role of either a Organization DTA (ODTA) or a Reviewing Official (RO) as identified in the DTA Manual Chapter 3
