The Alicart Restaurant Group, the name behind the award winning, popular brands Carmine’s NYC Family Style Italian and Virgil’s Real BBQ is in search for a dynamic and detailed oriented Accounting Coordinator. The selected candidate will focus on a variety of financial and non-financial tasks to ensure the company’s revenues and expenses are accurately stated.

The menu was developed after extensive research in the back roads of the south and highlights the best of the best of BBQ from Memphis, Carolina, Kansas City, and Texas. Virgil’s Real BBQ is located in NYC and Vegas
Your Role with Us:
- Prepare contracts and files for the NYC Special Events Team.
- Coordinate various aspect of each booking (menu, food allergy concerns, beverage arrangements, payments, etc.).
- Make deposits and accurately account for within deposit log.
- Manage bookings or cancellations within systems (Open Table & Tripleseat).
- Respond to phone call/emails and provide customer service support.
- Handle appropriate follow-up with clients through daily tasks.
- Prepare detailed Banquet Event Orders for internal distribution.
- Relay and update any changes or specifications to appropriate departments. Swiftly communicate to respective property notice of any delays of a group.
- Maintain up-to-date accurate records and files.
- Create menu cards or signage as needed.
- Assist with coordination of collateral and sales materials.
- Additional duties as maybe assigned National Director of Sales.
We are looking for Candidates:
- At least 1 yr of experience in an administrative role.
- Ideally, experience booking reservations and preparing contracts.
- Excellent computer skills (Ms Office Word Excel).
- Knowledge of OpenTable and Tripleseat a plus but not required.
- Extremely well organized, thorough and strong attention to details
- Good communicator.
- Professional demeanor with ability to keep focused in a high-energy office setting.
- Dependable and flexible.
- Effective in prioritizing tasks and is time sensitive.
- Ability to adjust work to accommodate unexpected changes or projects.
- Works well both independently and among a team.
- Capacity to remain engaged in daily constant tasks
