Venice Home and Lighting, a leading furniture and lighting retail showroom, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Administrative Coordinator to join our team. This position will serve as a vital liaison between our showroom, customers, vendors, and installers. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, strong computer proficiency, and a high level of patience and attention to detail.
**Responsibilities:**
- Answer phones and serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and concerns.
- Schedule appointments for product installations and coordinate with our team of installers.
- Generate and manage purchase orders for inventory replenishment.
- Enter job invoices and deposit checks into our computer system.
- Assist with payroll processing and manage employee schedules and time-off requests.
- Handle returned goods authorization process, including communication with vendors and arranging for damaged items to be returned.
**Qualifications:**
- Previous experience in an administrative or customer service role, preferably in a retail environment.
- Excellent computer skills and ability to learn new software systems quickly.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
