Your Role:
- Performs routine administrative support for the Department.
- Duties involve, but are not limited to:
- Disseminating information;
- Maintaining filing systems,
- Creating databases as well as the input and merging of data;
- Identifies opportunities to improve patient safety and participates in projects and programs designed to reduce error and improve safety.
- Specialty Responsibilities include:
- Residency Coordinator- office schedules for Residents and Faculty;
- Call schedules and master office schedules.
- Medical Records Coordinator:
- Day-to-day Medical Records work;
- Ensures HIPAA guidelines and Risk Management Compliance.
- Front Office Coordinator:
- All front office functions;
- Coordinate appointment scheduling and patient payment functions.

Required Education:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
Preferred Education:
- Associates Degree
Required Experience:
- Two (2) years office experience with organizational/coordination responsibilities and good knowledge of computer applications
Preferred Experience:
- Three (3) or more years office experience with organziation coordination repsonsibilities and high level knowledge of computer applications within a medical office or health care facility.
- Other skills training: Excellent skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint in addition to speed and accuracy.
- Advanced organizational and communication skills are necessary in this busy multi-physician office.
