```Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in office management and possess excellent administrative skills. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office and providing support to our team.
Duties:
- Perform general administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, managing emails, and handling correspondence
- Maintain and organize files, both physical and computerized
- Assist with scheduling appointments and coordinating meetings
- Provide administrative support to various departments as needed
- Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate person or department
- Assist with project coordination and tracking
- Manage office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
- Utilize phone systems to transfer calls or take messages with proper phone etiquette
- Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks software
- Perform clerical duties such as data entry, scanning, and photocopying
Experience:
- Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably in a medical or healthcare setting
- Proficient in computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with office management systems and procedures
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
