As an Administrative Assistant, you will:
- Play an integral part in our communication process.
- Perform specialized clerical duties such as report generation, record-keeping and managing forms and information.

A week in the life of an Administrative Assistant:
- Respond to queries by retrieving information in file systems.
- Answer queries by searching and retrieval of information.
- Update files and process incoming and outgoing correspondence.
- Provide agendas for meetings and generate records of the meetings.
- Compile employee data for reports and provide report inputs.
- Keeping our customers informed regarding program performance, through formal communications and the informal gathering and sharing of information.
- Ensure our customer is prepared to answer questions related to program activities as well as access to information they need to assess our overall program performance.
- Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance
- 3+ years’ experience providing administrative support to government contracts
- High School Diploma, AA degree or other higher education degree

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary/hourly range for this position is $62,000- $82,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
