Job Description: The Administrative Assistant is responsible for primary administrative tasks related to the delivery employee, agency, and union requested programs. Under the supervision of the Support Services Unit Supervisor, the Administrative Assistant will: - Provide extensive phone coverage in a courteous manner, handle routine issues, resolve problems, and make appropriate referral to staff - Answer questions about training programs, tuition benefits program, and online learning program - Respond to requests for information from employees, State agency staff, and union representatives - Screen training course applications, enter applicant information in the Class Hub registration system, enter application and attendance information into the Statewide Learning Management System - Draft and prepare correspondence and training materials - Maintain electronic and paper filing systems - Process incoming and outgoing mail - Act as back-up for specific program areas as designated - Other duties as directed by the supervisor
