LA Foods is looking for an energetic, motivated, hardworking, food industry loving individual who is excited to have an opportunity to learn, develop and hone their skills in the fast-paced world of food sales from some of the best professionals in the industry.
Administrative Assistant Duties & Responsibilities
· Utilize the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool for account management, opportunity tracking, task management, logging and maintaining key customer data.
- Collaborates with a team of internal high-achievers to continue building, growing sales and identifying new opportunities.
- Supports day to day operations.
· Primary point of contact for day-to-day Customer needs, concerns, orders, handles issues.
· Obtains required product specifications and paperwork from buyers and suppliers as needed.
· Process new orders by requesting Customer PO’s, entering into internal system.
· Works with Traffic Department to obtain freight quotes as required.
· Ensure all deadlines are met and buyers have sufficient time to work on items as it pertains to forecasts and pricing.
· Interact with Accounting as needed regarding customer invoices and adjustments.
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with customers and drive customer satisfaction through superior service and execution. This includes following up with customers to ensure recently received PO’s were delivered timely and correctly.
- Assist in identifying and driving continuous improvement in our processes.

At a minimum, you have...
- High School Diploma or GED, preferably a bachelor’s degree in business, analytics, supply chain
- Minimum 2 years of sales and or marketing experience, (preferably in the food industry)
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, CRM
