Administrative Assistant - Public Works

The City of Corcoran is seeking a community-focused and team-oriented individual to assist the Public Works Department in providing a high-level customer service experience, assisting with budgets and finances, grant applications, and general administrative office functions within the Public Works Department. The Administrative Assistant position is an integral part of the day-to-day functions and the main point of contact for the Public Works Department, and reports to the Public Works Director. This position also provides backup to the front desk Administrative Assistant. Successful candidates will exhibit knowledge of general office workflow protocols, an ability to assess customer-related service requests, utilize strong communication and organization skills, and possess a high commitment to both internal and external customer service.
