Ameriprise – East Hartford, CT – Sherrie Deveau, A Private Wealth Advisor of Ameriprise Financial is seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant to join our innovative and dynamic team. Job Purpose:
Serve as receptionist and Administrative Assistant, providing exceptionally friendly, helpful, high-quality service to our clients and help the practice in managing and organizing office workflow.
Responsibilities:
- Welcoming clients, answering phones, scheduling and managing complex practice calendars
- Supporting marketing activities, events, social media and website updates
- Processing paperwork, preparing data requests, and basic meeting materials
- Client service by phone, email and in person
- Assisting clients with technology needs
- Maintaining office appearance and orderliness, maintaining and ordering supplies
- Logging mail and check scanning
- Filing, printing, scanning, faxing, sending of confidential files and records
- Supporting client service and financial planning departments with special projects and other administrative support as required
Qualifications:
- Associates degree or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years of similar work experience in a professional office environment, ideally in the financial services industry
- Pleasant, professional and friendly manner with excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong team player
- Highly organized, accurate, and attention to detail
- Proven analytical and independent problem-solving skills
- Highly proficient with in Microsoft office including Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook
- Experience in Salesforce is a bonus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities
- Strong personal and business ethics and integrity
- Desire to grow and learn within the practice
Salary and Benefits:
- $21-$23 per hour to start, based on experience
- PTO, paid sick days after 90-days of employment, 401k with a match and health insurance stipend
