Responsibilities:
- 25-29 hours/week (Monday through Friday)
- Providing resources and intake paperwork for families of children diagnosed with autism and other developmental disabilities
- Processing incoming referrals and completing follow up with waiting list clients
- Submitting claims to insurance for reimbursement
- Submitting provider credentialing applications
- Inputting accounts payable and reconciling the ledger monthly
- Answering multi-line phone
- Working closely with the Practice Coordinator and Director of Insurance Operations on all aspects of business
- Creating and maintaining HR files for all personnel
Skills Abilities Program Knowledge:
- Must be able to type 60 wpm
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint)
- Experience creating spreadsheets and analyzing data
- Able to work well with others and independently as needed.
- Attention to detail with strong organizational skills
- Provide excellent customer service
- Ability to multi-task with attention to details.
- Experience with the Insurance Verification processes (highly preferred)
- Review of patient claims for accuracy and completeness.
- Experience with Availity and the Florida Medicaid Program (highly preferred)
