Title: Administrative Assistant
Duties:
Unlock/lock doors;
Greet visitors/mail & UPS personnel;
Open mail;
Stamp mail;
Scan mail;
Mail packages;
Upload (scan) mail to NYMatters;
Input activities into NYMatters;
Open cases on NYMatters, (2 – 10 per week);
Create files for the cases;
Close cases;
Transfer cases to A&O and locate files to send;
File documents and files;
Update Outlook calendar daily;
Answer the phone, transfer calls;
Contact the courts on behalf of attorneys at their request;
Email mail to AAGs;
Update the trial calendar and email to John Driscoll every Wednesday;
Maintain office trial calendar in Word document;
Communicate with courts via phone/email.
Preferred Education: High School, Technical Degree/Certificate Program, Bachelors Degree or Master Degree.
