Here at Treasure Keeper we’re a family owned business that purchases and resells collectible items. We’ve got lofty growth goals this year and are looking to add a team member ready to grow with us. Here’s what your job will include:
- Creating New Listings:Estimated 13 hrs/week. We’ve got a backlog of collectibles we’ve purchased but don’t have up for sale. We need you to photograph these items and add all the details to our spreadsheets so we can get them listed. Never done this before? Don’t worry we’ll train you on everything start to finish!
- Misc Admin:Estimated 7 hrs/week. This primarily consists of taking over simple tasks on my list so that I can focus on those lofty growth goals I mentioned ;) Example tasks include but are not limited to: updating inventory, ordering supplies, renewing eBay auctions, and repricing old product listings.
- Fulfillment Prep & Inventory:Estimated 5hrs/week sometimes more depending on the week. We need someone to prep our shipments before we send them to our fulfillment partner. This happens 1-2 times per month. In addition, you may be putting away and inventorying our Beanie Babies.
**We are a small team and when needed, we all do a bit of everything. A “that’s not my job” attitude won’t fly here.**
Now that you have an idea what you'll be doing, let’s talk about what you reallywant to know, pay & hours
- The big question… Pay. We're offering $15 an hour.
- Schedule: 25 hours per week. Monday – Friday 8:00-1:00 (Able to start as late as 10:00 AM if it fits your schedule better.)

4. Growth – In the next 6-12 months this position could be expanded to full time. This role has very straight forward tasks, but in the next 12-18 months I hope to hire someone that can take on more decision making and problem-solving roles. You’ll have to prove yourself to be considered for full time or a new role, but I’ve got big goals and need help to reach them.
This job is not for you if:
- You want to be a cog in a well-oiled repetitive machine. There’s a ton of great jobs like that are looking for people to fill those sorts of roles, but that’s not what we need. We need someone who wants to learn the basic tasks and grow into tasks that involve more responsibility and problem solving.
- You need an inclusive list of all tasks. We’ve got a set of tasks ready for you to start on, but the truth about small business is everybody does everything when needed. The longer you’re here, the more we’ll cross train you on other tasks.
- Drama seems to follow you. We’re creating a place where people enjoy being at work and drama is not welcome here. Most times if drama follows you, you’re the one causing it. It may sound harsh, but it’s usually true and we’re much too busy for drama here. (If this offended you, this job is also not for you :P)
