Speakers Bureau & Storytelling is an integral member of our Content Strategy, Storytelling & Social Media team. This position, reporting to the Manager of Speakers Bureau & Storytelling, is responsible for cultivating and maintaining a comprehensive patient and internal talent community to serve as ambassadors and spokespersons for *** as we drive increased awareness of ***, our mission and brand across a range of system-wide initiatives and activations including earned media, social media, marketing campaigns, advocacy initiatives, and internal and external events. This includes supporting operations, implementing strategies, and capturing metrics to ensure a high quality and effective program which provides patient and faculty talent and spokespeople for system-wide initiatives. H/She will moderate the Speakers Bureau request portal and email inquiries to fulfill requests from both internal and external partners. H/She will collaborate with internal stakeholders to gain strategic insight for speaker placement opportunities, and work with Speakers Bureau Manager to determine and implement strategic next steps. H/She will proactively collaborate across the content strategy team and help curate relationships with staff to story mine and identify prospective talent for the program. H/She will partner with Social Media and Storytelling colleagues, to develop strategy for story amplification. H/She will support the expansion and evolution of the Speakers Bureau program, lending project management skills to implement a growth plan which will diversify the program, increase program size, modernize program functionality and ensure programmatic support of the *** mission system wide.
" Moderate the Speakers Bureau request portal and email inquiries for talent and project support
" Obtain, review for validity, and submit PHI, talent release and vendors forms to appropriate teams
" Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gain insight into strategic requirements for speaker placement opportunity, and work with Speakers Bureau Manager to determine and implement next steps
" Work with new patient, caregiver and COH talent ambassadors to develop their stories and identify the best platforms for storytelling
" Proactively collaborate across Content Strategy Team and curate relationships with faculty to story mine and identify prospective patient and staff talent for program
" Collaborate with Speakers Bureau Manager to evolve the speakers bureau program strategy, offerings and operations
" Support talent placement and participation in a wide range of communications, marketing and event opportunities
Minimum Experience: 2-3 years in public relations, communications, or similar field. Experience in healthcare/research environment; public speaking; and customer service.
Minimum Education: B.A. in Communications, Marketing, Public Administration or other relevant discipline.
Experience may substitute for minimum education requirements.
Location (If remote, list as so): hybrid; mostly remote. Onsite work would take place at Rivergrade.
Schedule: 8:30-5:00 weekdays
