Administrative Assistant / Engagement Specialist

MCCA is seeking an Administrative Assistant / Engagement Specialist (AA/ES) for our Bridgeport Outpatient Program. The AA/ES is Liaison between the Outpatient Clinic and the CSSD referral source; as such, AA/ES are the point of contact when communicating with referral sources and provide information as requested. Ensure correspondence and data input is accurate and meets CSSD timeliness standards. The AA/ES is responsible for connecting eligible referrals to public insurance actively engaging and assisting eligible clients in gaining public insurance, DSS application process and connection to entitlements such as Medicaid. AA/ES will be highly knowledgeable of DSS regulations as means to matching clients’ needs and maximizing third party reimbursement. AA/ES is also responsible to make sure clients scheduled to the nearest date from the referral date or call for connect to care.

Qualifications:

Minimum Education: two-year degree, prefer bachelor’s degree in Business, Psychology, Sociology, Social Worker or the Social Sciences.

Work Experience: Minimum of two years of demonstrated office and records management skills.

General: Ability to work independently, handling multiple projects and/or duties. Business English, including spelling, grammar and punctuation. Business arithmetic.

Excellent customer relations and front desk skills.

Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint a must. Carelogic experience a plus.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
