The American Heart Association has an excellent opportunity for an Administrative Assistant, Community CPR  within our Western States Region based in Monterey County, California.

 

Reporting to the Business Development Manager, this position coordinates the daily operations of Western States Community CPR including program implementation, ensuring supply shipments and providing excellent customer service to current and prospective customers.

 

This is a full-time, fixed term, benefits eligible, grant-funded opportunity with current funding up through June 30, 2024.

  • Conducts research to identify potential interest in Community CPR resources and products and secures contacts.
  • Develops and implements strategies to recruit and engage volunteers to participate as trainers and implementers of the program.
  • Orders and manages kit shipments and deliveries to all sites.
  • Creates and provides reports on activities and outcomes.
  • Provides excellent service to internal and external customers with timely communication, proactive resourcefulness and a solution-oriented approach.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Access          
  • Highly effective organizational, communication and customer service skills
  • Effective interpersonal skills and ability to maintain a professional manner in all dealings with customers, staff and others; ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to keep all work-related information confidential as necessary
  • Knowledge of American Heart Association statistics and ability to research all Association on-line resources for information requested by community members
  • Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

Expected pay range will be $20.00 to $26.00 per hour. Pay is commensurate with experience; geographic differentials to the pay range may apply. The American Heart Association reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range.The American Heart Association invests in its people.
