Job Summary:
Administrative Assistant Associate for a system-wide Language Services department. Position provides dispatching, interpreter scheduling, and extensive phone interactions that may require real-time problem solving or troubleshooting.
Supports department(s) with various administrative tasks including but not limited to reception, phone support, scheduling, maintaining records, and monitoring inventory/supplies. Additional responsibilities may include supporting leaders with Kronos, Epic scheduling, budget tracking, reporting, billing, and data entry. Duties may vary by assigned area.
EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:
1 year of secretarial or 3 years of clerical experience.
EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:
High School Diploma / GED.
SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION:
- Ability to use discretion with handling sensitive information. Competence in the use and knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Candidate should have strong critical thinking skills, basic medical terminology, ability to remain calm, positive attitude, and exceptional customer service for internal and external customers. Knowledge and experience with the following tools: SharePoint, Outlook, and EPIC. Position may provide over the phone assistance for Limited English Proficient (LEP) customers using a language vendor interpreter.
