Job Responsibilities
With our Agency's mission to support the recovery of people with mental illnesses, we provide a complete array of medical and support services for children, adults, and families throughout South Carolina.

This position is with the Department of Mental Health, Beckman Center for Mental Health Services, Laurens Mental Health Clinic, 442 Professional Park Road, Clinton, SC.
Under general supervision, coordinates and supervises the overall operation of the administrative support staff for the Laurens Mental Health Clinic. Coordinates the operation of support services with the Clinic Director and staff, as well as Beckman Administration. Performs a variety of advanced administrative and clerical duties, which are critical in meeting Access to Care Protocols and to the general operation of the mental health clinic.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
State Minimum Requirements: A high school diploma and work experience that is directly related to the area of employment. A bachelor's degree may be substituted for the related work experience.
Additional/Agency Requirements: A bachelor's degree and one (1) year responsible clerical or administrative experience; or high school graduation and five (5) years responsible clerical or administrative experience.
Note:If any Agency Requirements are listed above, applicants must also meet those requirements to be considered for the position.
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish (or another language) are a plus
