Job Description
LHH has partnered with a local construction company who is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join their team! The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive administrative support, including front desk duties, managing prevailing wage documentation and assisting various departments as needed. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Job Duties:
- Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate personnel
- Answer incoming calls and respond to inquiries in a professional manner
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Assist with the preparation and submission of prevailing wage documentation
- Maintain accurate records of prevailing wage rates and compliance requirements
- Provide administrative assistance to various departments, including filing, data entry, and document preparation
- Update and maintain employee and project databases
- Assist with the preparation of reports and presentations as needed
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday, Full Time
- 8:00am-4:30pm
- 100% onsite
- Office is located in Lakeside, CA
Salary
- $24.00-$26.00/hour
- Contract-To-Hire
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or similar role
- Experience in Construction industry highly preferred
- Familiarity with prevailing wage regulations and documentation is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently with minimal supervision
