Administrative Assistant
Health Center Inc. is an established health services organization based in New York City with ambulatory care facilities staffed with a wide range of health professionals to provide extensive medical and diagnostic services.
We are seeking an Administrative Assistant who will act as a liaison between the physicians, Administrator, and health center staff to resolve concerns, facilitate special requests and fulfill the needs of medical staff. Compiles data on a monthly basis regarding statistics, quality improvement, policies and procedures, and other pertinent information. The Assistant will coordinate meetings and collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate payroll and accounting of center expenditures. Responsible for special projects assigned by the Administrator. Establish and implement appropriate coverage plans in the absence of medical staff and the Administrator ensuring office coverage at all times. The Administrative Assistant will coordinate and prepare materials for staff meetings and complete other assigned tasks.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma required
· Minimum 2 years’ medical office management experience
· Strong computer and organizational skills
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Knowledge of MS Office Suite
