Job Description
A.R. Mazzotta has a new administrative opportunity working for a well-established commercial construction company in the New Haven area. This professional team of project managers, estimators and staff need an Administrative Office Assistant to provide general support for the office.
Hours: Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm
Contract to hire, $22.00 per hour.
With your prior experience working in the construction industry and administrative background, you will be able to jump right into this role!
- Answering incoming calls and emails
- Greeting visitors arriving to the building
- Entering information into the computer system
- Maintaining the filing system and database
- Updating documents and paperwork
- Handling general administrative tasks as needed
- Assisting with coordinating events
- Maintaining supply levels and office equipment
Requirements
- Understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook and their capabilities.
- Ability to learn new software programs with ease.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working in the construction industry.
- Prior experience as an office assistant or Administrative Assistant.
- Ability to work independently.
