ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT POSITION
Legal Aid Service of Collier County (LASCC) is a division of Legal Aid Service of Broward County, a Southern Florida area non-profit law firm. Position Description
The Administrative Assistant helps to ensure efficient delivery of client services and harmonious maintenance of internal operations at Legal Aid Service of Collier County, Inc. The Administrative Assistant answers to and works under the direct supervision of the Deputy Executive Director. The Administrative Assistant’s responsibilities include but are not limited to administrative support, staff and facilities support, case management support, and grant compliance support.
Qualifications
- Five years of experience in office administration or management.
- Associate degree or higher.
- Preference for applicants who are fully fluent in English and Spanish.
- Demonstrated capacity to exhibit sensitivity to clients.
- Ability to type a minimum of 40 words per minute and successfully pass a secretarial skill test.
- Knowledge of basic professional letter formatting.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, and Outlook.
- Demonstrated ability and willingness to interact with community members in a professional, efficient, and compassionate manner.

Salary and Benefits
This full-time non-exempt position with annual salary starting at $40,000.00. LASCC offers a generous benefits package that includes health, vision, dental, and life insurance (for the employee), retirement, paid holidays, and generous annual and sick leave allotments starting at 15 days of vacation and 12 days of sick leave per year—good work-life balance.
