SalaryThe George B. Weatherbee team is seeking a detail oriented, highly organized, collegial collaborator to join our main office.
The ideal candidate would have excellent interpersonal skills, professionalism, organization, be responsive, flexible and committed to the Weatherbee School community.
- Answers and directs in-person and telephone inquiries.
- Greet visitors, provide information to parents, students, teachers and the public.
- Administer medication and first aid to students in nurse’s absence.
- Compose weekly school newsletter.
- Schedule all IEPs for Special Ed teachers.
- Manage school volunteer database.
- Manage school calendar and room assignments for facilities use including: Testing, outside tutors, outside organizations.
- Organize and communicate bus notes daily.
- Manage daily lunch counts.
- Manage all student absences. Contact parents for absences and issue letters for excessive tardiness and absences.
- Daily announcements.
- Website managements with school calendar, electronic backpack and weekly newsletter.
The position requires a Maine Department of Education Criminal History Check certification for employment.

Pay: $17.27 - $22.09 per hour
