Aegis Security Group is a small technology integration company located in McHenry, IL. We are experiencing a high level of growth and we are looking to add a part time Administrative Assistant to our team to help streamline operations and organization. While the current position is part time only, there is a strong possibility that this position will become full time in the future.
Our ideal candidate is someone that understands and is excited by the opportunity to work in a small but growing business. Someone that can take on challenges while maintaining a positive and upbeat attitude. Great communication skills are a must! We have a fast-paced environment and coordination with all stakeholders is key.

Responsibilities
· Answers phone calls and directs callers to appropriate personnel, schedules appointments, signs for incoming packages, and assists clients and other visitors.
· Maintains and manages calendars, appointment setting, customer communications, etc…
· Coordinates and maintains both physical and digital company files.
· Drafts and edits letters, reports, and other documents.
· Purchasing and tracking of materials and supplies for both the office and customer projects.
· Follows company purchasing and other established procedures.
· Professionally interacts with customers, vendors, partners and executives.
· Consistently handles confidential or business-sensitive information with the utmost integrity and discretion.
· Presents a positive and professional image for the organization.
· Researches and compiles and summarizes information for reports or presentations.
· May include support for tracking budget expenditures/bookkeeping.
Requirements
· Minimum 1 year of Administrative Assistant experience preferred.
· High School diploma or equivalent.
· Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, understanding of business processes and requirements.
· Self-starter able to function at a high level with general instruction.
· Ability to build strong relationships with customers, vendors and partners.
· Team-oriented, can-do attitude and desire to be a contributor to overall organization.
· Learns quickly and can change course quickly.
· Open to suggestions and innovation for improvement.
· Professional demeanor and ability to maintain confidentiality.
