JOB TITLE: ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
GENERAL FUNCTION: Provide administrative support to the company and executive director. Duties include general clerical, receptionist and project based work. Project a professional company image through in-person and phone interaction
CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Answer telephones and transfer to appropriate staff member.
- Meet and greet clients and visitors.
- Create and modify documents using Microsoft Office.
- Perform general clerical duties to include but not limited to: photocopying, faxing, mailing, and filing.
- Maintain hard copy and electronic filing system.
- Sign for and distribute UPS/Fed Ex/Airborne packages.
- Research, price, and purchase office furniture and supplies.
- Setup and coordinate meetings and conferences
- Complete and submit monthly billing.
- Other duties as assigned
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Knowledge and Abilities:
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and telephone protocol.
- Duties require professional verbal and written communication skills and the typing skills.
Minimum Education, Training, and Experience Requirements: Graduation from a standard high school, and at least 1 year experience as an administrative assistance; or any equivalent combination of training and experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 per year
