A Business Administrative Assistant & Ministerial Administrative Assistant is needed:

General Requirements for Both Positions:

- Submit a recommendation from your local church affiliation or ministry leader. Church ministry involvement is a plus.
- Proficient in English; excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to read, write, spell and edit documents with speed and accuracy
- Demonstrate a high level of integrity, trust, professionalism, and business etiquette
- Experienced with handling and accounting for money
- Have a heart to serve in a church environment
- Be able to work extended hours when needed
- Be detailed oriented
- Exercise sound judgment and discretion.

- Pass a full background check and a job related medical screening
- Summary of Duties:
- Assist the Minister of Business Administration in managing the business affairs of the church
- Check writing using Quickbooks
- Process payroll & manage employees work schedules
- Keep track of employee records, leave time, etc.
- Process and record financial contributions; Make deposits
- Generate financial reports and balances
- Process ministry and business check requests
- Type, print, edit bulletins, announcements, programs, funeral brochures, etc.
- Enter data into computer programs
- Process bills for payment
- Keep track of inventory
- Answer and respond to numerous phone calls and emails
- Assist with Custodial management
- Schedule appointments
- Ensure administrative policies and procedures are followed and enforced.
- Be cross-trained to perform the ministerial assistant duties when needed.
- Type letters, documents, communicate with business personnel and members
- Maintain an accurate filing system
- Make mass copies on commercial copiers
- Assist with scheduling building and vehicle maintenance and repairs
- Assist with obtaining insurance and repair quotes
- Assist with setting up rooms for meetings and church activities
- Assist with cleaning the building when required.
- Assist with staff scheduling and supervision (i.e. custodial staff)
- Assist Sr. Pastor with church related and pastoral tasks (When needed)
- Any additional assignments/tasks as assigned
