Inside Sales Administrative Assistant

Job Summary

The Inside Sales Administrative Assistant will provide a broad range of administrative support functions to the Inside Sales team. This position will be located in Thibodaux and will report to the Inside Sales Supervisor.

Responsibilities

1. Enter order correctly in back office system (E-III) along with order notes for dispatch/drivers; order delivery dates and inventory levels should be taken into consideration during order entry. It is expected that all orders will be entered into E-III on the day they are received.

2. Monitor emails

3. Create new ship-to addresses

4. Work with Accounts Receivable department to verify credit worthiness prior to sending order to dispatch/warehouse. Customers not cleared for credit should be forwarded to the account salesperson.

5. Responsible for communicating any order follow-up items with customer

6. Keep good communications with all staff and customers; position will work closely with sales, dispatch, inventory, admin and credit departments.

7. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Experience/Qualifications

· 3 years work experience needed

· High school diploma or equivalent

· General computer skills, ability to type effectively

· Experience with order entry

· Ability to problem-solve and multi-task

· Attention to detail, accuracy and thoroughness

· Great communicator: verbal and written

· Organizational skills a must

· Team player with Growth Mindset
