Administrative Assistant

The Administrative Assistant provides direct support to the Installation N9 and FFR Program Directors at NSF Dahlgren and NSF Indian Head. With various tasks assigned, this position is crucial to the N9 department. In addition to everyday administrative tasks, this position is responsible for naval correspondence, telephone trouble calls/requests, facility service requests, SAAR-N requests and employee training.Qualifications: Three years of progressively responsible office experience which demonstrated possession of the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform duties outlined above.
Expert skills in computer applications and knowledge of a variety of software programs and web-based programs (e.g. Power Point, Word, Excel, Outlook including calendars) required.
Must have the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and be able to make presentations in order to effectively represent the organization on pertinent issues.
Must have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, as well as ability to exercise discretion.
Must be able to manage competing priorities under strict deadlines, while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.Employment Type: FULL_TIME
