Summary of Job Duties:
Under general supervision provide accounting and clerical support. Work both independently and as part of the accounting team.
Specific Job Duties:
- Learn and use enterprise resource planning (ERP) software and credit card processing machine.
- Process credit slips for credit card charges in a timely and accurate manner.
- Post, apply, and reconcile credit card transactions in the computer on customer accounts.
- Cross-train in other positions as needed.
- Help with other tasks as needed including posting and applying of cash on delivery (COD) checks received from carriers, posting and applying of net checks, filing, sorting paperwork, and other assignments as requested.
- Support all A/R and Collection positions as needed including administrative help such as filing.
Perform all other tasks as assigned by Threshold management.
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications Required:
- Passing grade of 70% on timed 10-key test.
- Six months basic accounting experience which would include cash handling and money reconciliation, A/R, A/P or applicable education.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
- Must pass a background check.
Skills and/or Training Desired:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
