Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians with examinations, procedures, and patient care.
- Prepare patients for procedures and aid in assessments.
- Set up rooms with necessary instruments and supplies.
- Provide direct patient care in assigned areas.
- Perform basic procedures like dressing changes and urine tests.
- Maintain a courteous and respectful attitude with patients.
- Take vital signs, document in EHR, and provide personalized care.
- Collect and handle lab specimens safely, reporting results to patients.
- Administer medications accurately.
- Follow clinic policies for infection control and waste disposal.
- Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and progress tracking.
- Provide health instructions to patients and families.
- Adhere to HIPAA, OSHA regulations, and clinic procedures.
- Maintain patient records confidentially and accurately.
- Document patient transactions and observations per policy.
- Collaborate with team members and maintain positive relations.
- Perform other assigned duties.
Required Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Medical Assistant Certificate.
- Strong interpersonal skills for teamwork.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and computers.
- Attention to detail and multitasking ability.
- Willingness to support the front desk when necessary.
Hourly Salary Range:
- $18-$24 (experience-based).
