Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls/text messages, schedule appointments, and assist with patient inquiries
- Work directly with the practitioner on helping with patient care
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to protect patient confidentiality
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and record keeping
- Utilize medical office software (e.g., JaneApp) to manage patient appointments and records - Some housekeeping tasks like laundry and helping to maintain a clean environment.
Qualifications:
- Must have interest in holistic and alternative medicine - Previous experience as a medical receptionist preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
We are looking for someone who desires to work in an alternative healing environment. We are a small team and will spend a lot of time together. Must be comfortable working one on one with either owner/practitioner.
