Accounts & Receiving Specialist

Patel Processing is currently seeking an Accounts & Receiving Specialist to join our team in our Griffin, Georgia office.

Monday-Friday: 9am-5pm

Job Description:

• Prepare and Sent Invoices to Merchants
• Maintain precise records of all incoming payments
• Processing, verifying, and posting receipts for products sold
• Calling merchants for collections for outstanding invoices
• Obtaining information from other departments to ensure records are accurate and complete to match the accounts receivable ledgers.
• Performing administrative and clerical tasks, such as data entry, preparing invoices, sending bill reminders, filing paperwork, and contacting clients to discuss their accounts.
• Reconcile any irregularities in receipts
• Engaging in ongoing educational opportunities to update job knowledge
• Researching and resolving account discrepancies.
• Generate and deliver reports to different departments as needed
• Actively investigate and resolve irregularities in both incoming and outgoing payments

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Strong math, typing, and computer skills, especially with bookkeeping software.
• Excellent communication, research, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• High level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability and attention to detail.
• A Certified Public Accounting title may be preferred.
• Familiarity with industry-standard accounting software, such as Quicken or QuickBooks
• Working knowledge of database and spreadsheet software, such as MySQL and Excel
• Relevant experience using modern communication systems, including email and phone systems.
• Expert-level experience using productivity tools, such as Microsoft Office Suite
• A desire and ability to work collaboratively with others to accomplish daily goals.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
