Job Description
Primal is seeking an AR Specialist who will be responsible for internal and external communication regarding all AR accounts. We are looking for a detail oriented, motivated individual who is driven to succeed. This position involves a close working relationship with other departments and requires problem solving and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Data entry including posting all payments into the accounting software
- Creating, reviewing and sending invoices for payment
- Review, research and address customer billing concerns
- Keep the A/R aging report up to date and current at all times
- Assist the sales team with any customer billing questions or concerns
- Month end financial reports including bank reconciliations and journal entries
- Keeping customer accounts accurate and up to date with all payments and invoices
- Some answering phones and customer service
Requirements
- High school diploma required, some accounting experience preferred
- Must have strong work ethics
- Must be well organized and a self-starter
- Detail oriented, professional attitude, reliable
- Possess strong organizational and time management skills
- Problem solving skills, basic accounting principles knowledge, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, data analysis and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Ability to interact with employees and customers in a professional manner
- Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
- Ability to perform mathematical computations such as percentages, fractions, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division quickly and accurately
