Peak Dental Services, a Colorado-based Dental Support Organization, is growing and adding a Dental Insurance Billing and Collections Specialist to our AR team. We seek a full-time Insurance and Dental Billing and Accounts Receivable Specialist to work remotely, supporting our 60-office portfolio. We are increasing and will double in size over the next 3-5 years.

You will effectively utilize the resources provided by support departments and ensure each practice achieves its goals by working on aging insurance claims and balances and working with the front office teams for success.

We have general dentists and specialists onsite in all locations. We are looking for an experienced individual to join our Accounts Receivable team of business professionals.

DESCRIPTIONThe primary role of a Dental Billing and Accounts Receivable Specialist is to join and contribute to our Accounts Receivables team to achieve best-in-class collection levels across all our practices while maintaining high levels of customer service.

  • Manage aging insurance claims, including but not limited to appealing claims for a favorable resolution, writing narratives, creating X-ray attachments, and working with the front office staff to resolve outstanding insurance issues.
  • Implement patient collection processes.
  • Implementing and improving our collection protocols within agreed-upon deadlines
  • Any other tasks as required.

Skills Desired:

  • Denticon knowledge is a plus
  • Familiarity with dental insurance websites
  • Excel experience
  • Medical Billing and Coding experience

Requirements


  • Experience working in a dental practice or similar environment
  • Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
  • Demonstrates strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and listening skills are a must
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented
  • Knowledge of dental insurance is required
  • Knowledge with DENTICON a plus~
