Accounts Receivable Specialist

We are conducting a search for one of our clients, for an Accounts Receivable Specialist. The AR Specialist will efficiently process all accounts payable tasks, including invoice processing, verification, reconciliation, and expense monitoring for tax purposes.

Specializing in exterior commercial spaces, we handle various construction facets such as Design, Civil Engineering, Demolition, Grading, Concrete, Masonry, Landscape, Steel, Carpentry, and Electrical installations. The AR Specialist will:

• Ensure accurate and timely billing of customers
• Resolve accounts discrepancies and facilitate collections
• Provide analytical and administrative support to the Finance Director

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Understanding of basic finance, accounting, and bookkeeping principles
• 1-5 years of Accounts Receivable or accounting experience
• Experience with accounting software and online platforms
• Clean CA Driver’s license
• Spanish language working proficiency

Specific Areas of Focus:

• Generate and send invoices
• Follow up on, collect, and allocate payments
• Carry out billing, collection, and reporting activities on specific deadlines
• Perform account reconciliations
• Monitor customer account details for irregularities
• Maintain Accounts Receivable customer files
• Communicate with customers via various channels
• Assist with month-end closing
• Collect data and prepare monthly metrics
