Accounts Receivable Specialist - Contract Based

The Accounts Receivable Specialist will play a critical role in managing customer invoicing and ensuring the timely collection of payments. This includes monitoring customer accounts, reconciling discrepancies, and actively following up to resolve outstanding payment issues.

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in Accounts Receivable and a proven ability to handle high volumes of transactions. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, possess excellent communication skills, and have a strong understanding of financial systems and processes.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain customer Accounts Receivable records
• Generate and distribute accurate and timely customer invoices
• Monitor and reconcile customer accounts to ensure accuracy
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies and outstanding payment issues
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve billing and collection concerns
• Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries
• Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial reporting as needed
• Contribute to process improvements and system enhancements to optimize Accounts Receivable operations

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or related field
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage)
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
