AddressHumanHire is partnered with a local company that works with many popular, large name brands across the country in search of an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their growing team in Freeport, NY.
We are seeking candidates with 2+ years of AR or collections experience.
What we offer:
- Position: Accounts Receivable Specialist
- Location: Freeport, NY
- Pay: $23-25/hour, weekly pay
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM/9AM-6PM with an occasional rotating weekend & evening shift 2-3 times a month that would result in OT
- Benefits: Health, Vision, Dental
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the timely collection of outstanding debts by following up on past due payments, sending out past due notices, and negotiating payment plans as necessary
- Maintain and update AR records, enter receipts, and oversee the transfer of invoices between two systems
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues impacting payment collection
- Resolve billing or customer/client issues as needed
Requirements:
- 2+ years of AR or collections experience required
- High school diploma required
- Strong technical skills & knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
